Somewhere in the middle of the first summer of the pandemic, I began a personal log under the quiet assumption that the world might be ending. Self-portraiture emerged as the most immediate point of entry—a practical exercise in dexterity that rapidly evolved from a casual log into a rigorous, foundational practice. Today, this ongoing visual archive serves as a site of profound personal mutation. My work captures my body not as a static form, but as a territory of constant migration, recording the shifts of my aging female form as it navigates the complex landscapes of reclamation, hard-won sobriety, and structural rebirth.
